I never told you

I never told you, what you are to me,
I never told you, that you are the world to me,
I never told you that you bring a smile when I am sad,
Never told you, that you brighten up the day, when it’s bad,
Never told you what you mean to me,
But, today I am being honest and true.
Three simple words,
I love you!

Although sometimes I question things, 

deep inside I know that you are the only one for me. 

When I'm not with you, 

you are the only one I'm thinking of. 

Everything about you tells me that we can be together forever. 

Only you can make me feel like time STOPS when I'm with you. 

Only you can make things better when it feels like the end. 

Only you can be the one to smooth my fears away. 

For this I'm grateful and I hope you never leave.

It is always important to know when something has reached its end. 

Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, 

it doesn't matter what we call it; 

what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over.

My heart might be bruised,

but it will recover and become capable of seeing beauty of life once more. 

It's happened before, it will happen again, I'm sure. 

When someone leaves, it's because someone else is about to arrive--

I'll find love again.
